The original Moss Group was founded in 2005 by Nicky van Hille (née Moss) as a management consulting practice.  The company then amalgamated in 2009 with Macknapp Enterprises, an engineering firm operated by Geoff Moss.

How we work:

Without people, neither strategy nor creative solutions are worth anything. In order for strategy to be executed or solutions to be implemented in order to deliver results, it is people that need to take action.

When working with our clients, we ensure that we work with and build up both the individual and the team.  In each assignment, we assist leaders and their teams in developing a spirit of passion and energy around the strategy or solution, while equipping them with the hard and soft skills and capabilities to bring their vision to fruition.

In particular, our approach to developing strategy combines the ‘hard’ science of research and analysis, with the ‘softer’ human element of intuition and experience.  We spend time listening to what our client has to say, at all levels of the organisation.  We then integrate what we hear into the strategy development process.

The strategy development process is a facilitated journey with the leadership team.  Our job is to ‘shine the light’ for the team and to guide them to a strategy about which they feel passionate.

We believe that leaders should be able to build a positive spirit and energy around this vision throughout their organisation.  It is when this energy is almost tangible at all levels and when all individuals are able to comprehend their part in bringing the vision and spirit of the organisation alive, that organisations truly succeed.
